Joseph Sutton

Joseph Sutton has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in tax and finance roles. Joseph is currently the Director of Tax at Hamilton Beach Brands Inc., a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to joining Hamilton Beach Brands Inc., Joseph served as the Director of Tax Compliance & Reporting Global Mortgage Insurance at Genworth from January 2018 to June 2021. From December 2014 to January 2018, they worked at Genworth Financial as the Head of Tax Accounting & Reporting. Before that, Joseph held the role of Tax Manager - GAAP Reporting at Genworth Financial from January 2008 to December 2014. Joseph also has prior experience as a Senior Tax Accountant at Dominion and as a Senior Associate at both KPMG and PwC. Joseph began their career as an Associate at PwC in February 2003. Joseph briefly worked at Carrier Corp. as a Small Parts employee from August 2000 to September 2001.

Joseph Sutton completed their high school education at Canastota High School from 1992 to 1996. Joseph then pursued an Associate of Science degree in Accounting at the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville from 2002 to 2003. Following that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College from 2003 to 2005. In 2008, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
