Dan Liu

Dan Liu is a Mechanical Design Engineer at HamiltonJet, specializing in control systems. Dan also has experience as a part-time teacher at Rewi Alley Chinese School, a volunteer tour host at Tūranga, and an intern at Invert Robotics and Fabriko. Dan is currently a PHD Candidate conducting research on creep-fatigue behavior. Their previous roles include R&D Engineer at Beijing Angtron Electronic Technology Co., Ltd and Aviation Industry Corporation of China - Manufacturing Technology Institute. Dan holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, a MEng in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering, and a BE in Mechanical Design & Manufacturing and Automation.
