Alex Dunn

Alex Dunn is an experienced legal professional serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Hammerson since May 2022. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Close Brothers from March 2014 to April 2022, including Company Secretary and Head of Legal for both Corporate and Bank Retail, as well as Group Legal Counsel. Alex's legal career began at Slaughter and May, where responsibilities included serving as an Associate and Trainee Solicitor from September 2005 to March 2014. Additionally, Alex was a Legal Counsel - Secondee at HM Treasury from August 2009 to May 2010. Alex holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from Durham University, earned between 2000 and 2003.
