Luis Pabón

Luis Pabón is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as an MTS Architect at Hammerspace since November 2024 and as the CNCF SIG-Storage Technical Lead since July 2019. Previously, Luis held roles at Pure Storage and Portworx, focusing on technical direction and architecture for containerized storage systems. With a significant tenure at CoreOS and Red Hat, Luis contributed as a Technical Lead on Kubernetes development and co-architected Red Hat Converged Containerized Storage. Early career experiences at NetApp and EMC involved advanced software engineering roles and significant contributions to storage solutions. Luis holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is pursuing further education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
