Neil Cook has over 20 years of experience in various technical support and engineering roles. Starting in 2000 with Allied Worldwide Ltd, they were a Technical Consultant before becoming a Systems Engineer at iPSL in 2004. In 2006, they joined ONStor Ltd as a Senior Technical Support & Escalations Engineer. Neil continued their support role at Isilon Systems, where they worked as an Applications Engineer in EMEA. In 2012, they became the Lead Technical Support Engineer at Violin Memory in EMEA before moving to Panzura in 2013 as a Senior Technical Services Engineer. In 2021, they worked at VAST Data as a Customer Success Engineer before becoming an IT Consultant at Me in 2022. In the same year, they joined Exabeam as a Principal Technical Support Engineer before becoming a Principal Support Engineer at Hammerspace in 2023.

Neil Cook attended Ousedale School from 1984 to 1988, although there is no record of him obtaining a degree or studying any specific field. In 2021, they received certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for both the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Neil also obtained the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 certification from VMware in April of the same year. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Learning Docker from LinkedIn and in Learning Regular Expressions, also from LinkedIn.
