Shon Vella is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience in developing identity and access management solutions and cloud-native applications. A principal developer of RapidIdentity at Identity Automation from 2009 to 2022, Shon also played a key role in creating Novell Identity Manager and led the technical transformation of a legacy IDE at NICE. Earlier career experiences include developing imaging systems at Mirror Software Corporation and contributing to software solutions during tenure at WordPerfect/Novell/Corel. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Hammerspace since August 2025, Shon holds a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
