Mac Newbold has a diverse work experience in various industries. Mac has held positions such as Director of Software Engineering at Hammerton, where they implemented new software applications and integrated CRM software. Mac also served as a Member and former President of the Board of Directors at Dual Immersion Academy, where they successfully completed an $8-million dollar bonding deal. Mac has also worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at doTERRA International LLC and as a Director, Principal Solutions Engineer, and IT Business Systems Analyst at Vivint Smart Home, where they managed the implementation of an incident management program. Prior to these roles, they were the CTO/Chief Engineer at Gradefix.com, where they launched a tool to help students improve their grades, and at Code Greene, a provider of dynamic web solutions. Mac also served as the Senior Interactive Technology Manager at Skullcandy Inc. and as a Research Assistant at Emulab.net. Mac also has experience in self-employment consulting and independent contracting.
Mac Newbold received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah in 2001. Mac then pursued further studies at the same university and obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 2005.
