Michael Turner

Michael Turner is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Dean of Students at Hammond School since September 2014, where responsibilities include managing disciplinary matters, safety, attendance, and pupil personnel services, as well as developing and teaching a leadership course. Concurrently, Michael has served as the Director of Equal Opportunity Training Proponent for the US Army since September 2012, overseeing the development of effective Equal Opportunity training materials and curricula. Previous roles include Assistant Professor and Deputy Director at the United States Military Academy, where Michael managed the Center for the Professional Military Ethic, and Equal Opportunity Program Manager in the U.S. Army. Michael earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology from the University of Alabama, along with a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
