Hampton Bluff Capital Partners was founded in February 2026 by seasoned wealth advisors with deep roots in the industry. Our journey began in 1998 at SunTrust Securities, followed by Lehman Brothers – where we navigated the 2008 bankruptcy and Global Financial Crisis – then Credit Suisse until the closure of its US Private Bank in 2015, and most recently a decade at UBS.

Through bull markets and crises, we’ve seen first-hand the myriad of challenges posed by some of the largest global financial firms: bureaucracy, shifting priorities in capital allocation, and decisions that sometimes limit client service and offerings. These experiences led us to persistent questions: How can we improve the client experience? Could we build something better ourselves – combining institutional access and resources with boutique independence?

The answer is yes. The time for change is now.
