Eric Evans

Eric Evans has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity and technology fields. Eric is currently the Founder & Chief Technology Officer at HanaByte, where they focus on providing cybersecurity solutions and services. Prior to that, Eric worked as the Director of Research and Development at CSNP, where they promoted cybersecurity awareness and education. Eric also served as the Chapter President for CSNP. Eric has worked as a Cloud Security Content Developer at TryHackMe and an APN Ambassador at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Eric has also held positions such as Consulting Director at ScaleSec, Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Ware2Go, and DevOps & Security Engineer at Experience LLC. Eric's earlier experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at entertainment works and Crittr Media, LLC. Eric started their career as a Computer and Network Support Specialist at Gainesville State College.

Eric Evans holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Eric has also obtained several certifications, including (ISC)² Candidate from ISC2 in August 2023, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2023, and various certifications from Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Trend Micro, and HashiCorp between 2019 and 2021.
