Hojoon Seo

CEO & President at HanAra Software

Hojoon Seo is the president and CEO of HanAra and its parent company, South Korea-based BNF Technology. Through his leadership, the organization has become a global leader in data management and predictive maintenance, through optimized intelligent software solutions.

Since founding the organization in 2000, Hojoon has been dedicated to creating a company that is focused equally on customers, communities, and employees. His vision is that while the organization provides innovative products with excellent training and customer care programs, that it also positively impacts its communities. To deliver on this vision, he starts first with his employees focusing on recruiting and developing talent with the right mix of innovation and service. Creating a culture where employees are healthy and happy has been a key to the organization’s success.

Before launching BNF Technology, Hojoon served as Manager of KEPCO (Korea Engineering and Power Company) for three years. His professional start came as a senior researcher for Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute where he designed and developed plant monitoring systems, instrumentation, and controls.

Hojoon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Yeungnam University in Gyeongsan, South Korea. He also holds a Master of Science in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
