Richard Eich has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. Richard began their career in 1999 as a Records Specialist at Provo City Police Dept and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they joined Handi Quilter, Inc. where they held various positions including Technical Advisor from July 2006 to September 2007, Electronics Design Engineer from September 2007 to March 2015, Director of Quality Assurance from April 2015 to September 2023, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering starting from August 2023. At Handi Quilter, Richard has been responsible for managing a team, overseeing quality improvement and assurance functions, and implementing a viable quality program.
Richard Eich has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University. Richard attended Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2002. Richard also pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah from 2004 to 2007, but did not complete it. Richard Eich obtained the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ in December 2015.
