During a patient handover in hospitals, doctors are expected to summarise a patient’s health status, previous treatments and ongoing care plans for 25+ patients in under 10 minutes. Hence, 8 out of every 10 serious medical errors are caused by miscommunication and over A THIRD of those end in fatality.

So we set out to build TORCH (now rebranded to Handovex), an AI-powered platform designed to fix one of healthcare’s most dangerous blind spots, clinical handovers.
