Javier Tentor

Javier Tentor has over twenty-five years of experience in the technology industry. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Engineer at I.C.S. Dassault AT, where they were responsible for developing system software for the ARTEMA platform, developing applications for the SERMEPA team, and creating a managing terminal for Repsol service stations stores. From 1998 to 2008, they worked at Thales e-Transactions España, first as a Team Leader for SERMEPA, CAJA MADRID, and RURAL saving banks, and then as Team Leader for new segments terminals (vending). From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Hypercom as a Team Leader, responsible for SERMEPA and RURAL saving banks applications migration to a new terminal platform, as well as for key management and cryptographic operations. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Spire Payments as a Team Leader, responsible for emerging markets, ISO8583 and VPOS for TELEFONICA SPAIN, and development of specifications and software. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Castles Technology Spain as a HL Engineer. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Castles Technology Co. as a Senior Consultant expert in EMV and Contactless solutions. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Desarrollos Informáticos Diusframi (DID S.L.) as an Electronic Payments Software Area Manager, responsible for all developments related with electronic payments and Android development. Finally, from 2016 to 2022, they worked at Handpoint as a QA EMV certifications responsible.

Javier Tentor studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1983 to 1987, specializing in Telephony and Data Transmission.
