Avery Yip

Avery Yip is a data scientist turned full stack developer currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Handshake AI, where they build the human data business. With past experience as a Software Engineer at Productiv and Uber Freight, Avery also co-founded and led Vessel as CEO. They have worked as an Analyst at Point72 and a Data Scientist at Salesforce, contributing to various sectors including Finance and Tech. Avery holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently engaged with Y Combinator.
