Gary Justin

Gary Justin is an experienced software engineer with a focus on developer experience and technical management. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at Handshake since May 2019, Gary previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer there. Prior to Handshake, Gary worked at CoStar Group as a Technical Manager, where significant architectural advancements were made, including a transition to a modern application stack. Gary's experience also includes a tenure at ForRent.com® as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Development Manager, contributing to a range of projects from front-end development to establishing testing cultures. Gary began a freelance development career after earning a degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2006.
