Grenna Vasquez

Grenna Vasquez is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a double major in Managerial Economics and Organizational Sciences, along with a minor in Neuroscience at Rice University. They serve as the Activities and Outreach Chair for PERIOD., where they design menstrual product awareness curriculums for local high schools and lead outreach efforts. Their past experiences include research roles at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Medical Branch, focusing on cytotoxicity studies and optogenetics, respectively. Grenna has also contributed as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at NASA, where they developed CAD models and collaborated with engineers on various projects. Enthusiastic about community empowerment, they founded the Accessibility Buddies group to advocate for equitable learning and have engaged in various leadership roles within the university.
