Joel Kin

Joel Kin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly in iOS engineering. Currently serving as Principal iOS Engineer at Handshake since March 2019, Joel previously held the same title at Mindstrong, where significant enhancements were made to a keyboard extension's autocorrect functionality. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Mobile Engineer at Eventbrite, where user research and prototype development were conducted, and as Co-Founder of Spaceman Labs, Inc., which produced award-winning apps. Earlier positions at MeLLmo Inc and Apple Inc emphasized pioneering work in graphics and performance on early iPhone hardware. Joel holds a BS in Computer Science and a BFA in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University.
