Max Erdemandi

Max Erdemandi is a quantitative methodologist and applied statistician currently working as a MOVE Fellow specializing in LLM/AI training and evaluation at Handshake, beginning in 2025. They are also a researcher at the University of Maryland, where they have been involved in several research roles since 2020. Previously, Max held positions at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) from 2017 to 2020 and served as a Dual-Diploma Program Associate at The State University of New York from 2015 to 2016. Max earned their education from Duke University and the University of Maryland, where they are currently pursuing further studies until 2026.
