Laura Katzenberger has a strong background in the prosthetics and orthotics industry. Laura began their career in 2006 as a Prosthetist at Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates, where they worked until 2008. In 2009, they joined Touch Bionics, initially as a Clinical Consultant and later took on roles such as Clinical Operations Director and East Region Team Leader.
In 2012, Laura joined both Handspring Clinical Services and OPIE Software. At Handspring Clinical Services, they held positions such as Assistant Clinical Director, Director of Clinical Services, and Chief Operating Officer. Similarly, at OPIE Software, they worked as a Clinical & Business Advisor.
Most recently, Laura served as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Clinical Services at Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates starting in 2016. Laura also took on the same positions at Handspring Clinical Services in 2021.
Laura Katzenberger completed their high school education at Monticello High School. Following that, they attended the University of Rochester from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. In 2004, Laura studied abroad at the Instituto Lorenzo de Medici. In 2005, they also obtained a certificate in Prosthetics from Northwestern University.
