John Shields

John Shields is a financial services professional with extensive experience in the ETF industry, having developed and launched over 60 equity, fixed income, and multi-asset class ETFs. They previously served as Vice President of US ETF Product Development at State Street Global Advisors, where they managed a product range of more than 80 ETFs. Currently, John leads Business Development for the Americas at HANetf, assisting US-based asset managers in entering the European ETF market. They hold an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Bowdoin College.
