Sam Smolin

Sam Smolin has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at The Difference Engine, where they contributed to building a system for low-income residents in Chicago to access affordable rental housing. Sam developed features such as real-time application status and an algorithm for application approval. They also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at GamerzArena during the same year. In 2020, Sam joined Headliner, where they focused on partnerships, experience, and production until early 2022. Sam's entrepreneurial spirit led them to co-found Estimated Inc in 2016 and co-found Hang in 2021.

Sam Smolin has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Charleston. Additionally, they have obtained a Web Development Certificate in Computer Software Engineering from the Actualize Coding Bootcamp & Apprenticeship. During their time at the bootcamp, they focused on learning Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and other related subjects.
