HANGTIME was founded in 2015 as an outdoor gear brand focused on hammocks. After launching several products on Amazon, I (Haj) came away with one key lesson: innovation is critical for success in today’s crowded markets. So, in 2017 when I came up with the KOALA design, I sold my remaining HANGTIME inventory and pivoted the branding to reflect this new direction.

HANGTIME makes gear for people who go outside and don't want to slow down.

Founded in Santa Fe, NM in 2015, we spent our first few years testing products before landing on the one that stuck: the KOALA 2.0, a super-grip phone harness built for climbers, skiers, hikers, and anyone who's done white-knuckling their phone in the field.
