Founded in 1943 as a small ceramics workshop in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, Hankook Chinaware has grown into Korea’s leading tableware brand and a distinguished bone china manufacturer, exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.
In addition to its own brands—Hankook Chinaware, Prouna, and White Bloom—the company is also the official domestic distributor of renowned international brands such as Twig NY, Steelite, and DANSK.

As the first in Korea to introduce authentic bone china technology, Hankook Chinaware operates under the motto “Plate Your Happiness,” striving to ensure that every moment with its products brings joy. With 80 years of heritage, the company remains committed to uncompromising quality, supported by its in-house central research lab and its dedication to full in-house production at its Cheongju factory.

Thanks to its exceptional quality, Hankook Chinaware products are used by major Korean government institutions including the Blue House and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ overseas missions, and are beloved by VVIPs around the world, including the British Royal Family, the White House, and the Dubai Royal Family. The brand is also recognized in the global luxury market, with placements in prestigious department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale’s.

Since 1943, Hankook Chinaware has been creating tableware that plates happiness.
