Roger Chae

Roger Chae serves as Group General Counsel and Global Legal & Compliance officer at Hanon Systems since August 2020, where the focus is on driving growth with integrity in a global context. Roger is also a Committee Co-chair for AMCHAM Korea, actively fostering business relations between APAC and the United States since February 2001. As an adjunct professor at SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University from March 2020 to 2023, Roger contributed to academia while previously holding significant legal roles at United Technologies, where responsibilities included managing interests across 15 APAC countries and ensuring compliance with corporate ethics and legal standards. Roger also practiced at Shin & Kim as a Senior Foreign Attorney, advising on corporate governance and regulatory compliance, and began a legal career as a prosecutor in Honolulu, handling various criminal cases. An educational background includes advanced degrees in business administration and law from respected institutions.
