David Sun is an experienced electrical engineer and project manager with a strong background in the construction and commissioning of major projects. Currently serving as a Project Package Lead at HanRoy since April 2023, David previously worked at Roy Hill from January 2018 to April 2023, where responsibilities included project management for a 40ML/d desalination plant and serving as Commissioning Manager for an Iron Ore UCC desanding plant upgrade. Prior roles include Specialist Electrical Engineer positions at BlueScope and Proteus EPCM Engineers, as well as an Electrical Projects Engineer at BHP Billiton and a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Anglo American. David holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons.) from RMIT University, earned between 2003 and 2008.
