Matthew Bird

Matthew Bird is an experienced Environmental and Approvals Specialist currently working at HanRoy since July 2023. Previously, Matthew served as a Senior Approvals Advisor at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd from March 2022 to July 2023, and held the position of Senior Mining Officer with the Northern Territory Government from February 2014 to March 2022, where responsibilities included environmental regulation and compliance for mining sites. Matthew's extensive background encompasses roles as an Environmental Scientist and Environmental Advisor, focusing on environmental management and compliance across both the mining and petroleum sectors. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Curtin University, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
