Imagine boosting the speed of an industrial fiber cable by simply plugging a box into either end.

With the Axon, now you can.

Hansen Photonics Incorporated (HPI) is a telecommunications R&D firm engineering the next generation of optical network infrastructure. We build physical, edge-deployed hardware solutions that radically scale the data throughput of existing fiber optic cables—eliminating the capital-intensive need to lay new glass.

We have built successful high-speed prototypes, and are actively transitioning to commercial validation. We are proud members of the Washington APEX Accelerator program, structuring our hardware pipeline for both commercial telecom and dual-use federal contracts. To validate our gigabit-speed architecture in rigorous, real-world environments, we are currently planning the deployment of live RFSoC 4x2 boards in partnership with Renton Technical College to refine our gigabit-speed models.
