Matt M. currently serves as the Manager of Information Security at HANYS since October 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing information security, cybersecurity, and risk management programs, along with acting as the designated HIPAA Security Officer. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Manager of Technology Services at Ellis Medicine, focusing on server administration, desktop support, and developing technology standards. At NYISO, Matt supervised a team in Network, Telecommunication, and Telemetry Services, managing a multi-million dollar budget and customer relationships. Earlier experience includes managing network operations at The State University of New York and serving as a LAN Administrator at The Research Foundation for SUNY. Matt began a career in IT as an intern at General Control Systems, Inc. Matt holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Network Administration from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.
