Weijie Gu has work experience as a Portfolio Manager at HAP Capital since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Quantitative Researcher and Strategist at Laurion Capital from August 2015 to June 2021. Weijie also served as a Quantitative Researcher, Vice President at Barclays Investment Bank from July 2012 to July 2015.
Weijie Gu pursued their education by first completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from Fudan University between the years 2004 and 2008. Weijie then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012.
