Barbara Smith

Barbara Smith has extensive experience in the maritime and logistics industry, currently serving as the Managing Director of Hapag-Lloyd Business Services Malaysia since July 1997. Previous roles at Hapag-Lloyd AG include Customer Service Director for France and Transpacific PM Director. Prior to this, Barbara worked at DSR Senator Line as a Product Manager responsible for pricing and slot allocation on the Med-Usa route, and at Italia Di Navigazione as a Line Executive in the SAWC Trade. Barbara holds a Maitrise degree in transportation finance and management from the Facolta Di Economia e Commercio, Università di Genova, completed in 1990.
