Bernhard Hersberger

Bernhard Hersberger is the Lead Data Scientist at Hapag-Lloyd AG, where they manage the local AI team and promote AI initiatives. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, where they focused on post-processing large datasets using Python and Fortran, conducted high-resolution fluid dynamics simulations, and taught numerical methods at the University of Hamburg. Bernhard earned a Master of Science in Physics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
