Michael Hartmann

Michael Hartmann is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and cash management. Currently serving as Director of Cash Management at Hapag-Lloyd AG since March 2021, Michael oversees global payment transactions and cash pooling structures. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at ZEABORN Ship Management, including Senior Manager of Treasury & Finance and Senior Manager of Project Finance, where responsibilities included coordinating interface projects and treasury transaction automation. Michael's earlier tenure at Hapag-Lloyd AG as Treasury Manager emphasized vessel financing and the development of treasury systems. Michael holds a Dipl. Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
