Moritz Baur

Moritz Baur is the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Hapag-Lloyd AG, drawing on over a decade of expertise in M&A strategy and global liner shipping. Previously, they served as a Project Manager at Deloitte Consulting and have held various roles at Hapag-Lloyd AG, including Management Trainee and Director of Strategy Office. Moritz holds an MBA from IE Business School and has participated in the Global Consulting Practicum at The Wharton School. They are fluent in German, English, and Spanish and have lived and worked in six countries across three continents. In addition to their professional achievements, Moritz was a competitive rowing athlete, finishing third at the German nationals.
