Paul Plomp

Paul Plomp serves as the Director of Network & Cooperations for Africa and Oceania Trades at Hapag-Lloyd AG since November 2021. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions at NileDutch from February 2009 to November 2021, including Global Network & Operations Manager and Trade Manager, focusing on Far East - Africa and African Exports. Earlier in his career, Paul worked at Brunel as a Project Coordinator for Eneco Infra, and at Europe West Indies Lines as a Vessel Planner, where responsibilities included stowage planning and cargo acceptance. Paul began in the maritime industry as a Merchant Marine Officer at Bore Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Officer from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a degree from De Nederlandse Zeebevrachters Sociëteit / STC B.V.
