Stephan Mühlmann

Stephan Mühlmann is currently a Manager in the Competence Center Accounting at Hapag-Lloyd AG and has been with KPMG in Hamburg since July 2017, where they focus on Accounting & Process Advisory. In this role, Stephan has worked with clients from various industries, addressing complex issues related to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and the transformation of financial organizations. Additionally, Stephan has a strong interest in sustainability reporting (ESG Reporting) and the new requirements of the EU Taxonomy and CSRD. Their educational background includes a Master of Science in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and a Business Administration program at the University of Mississippi.
