Arash Mohtat

Arash Mohtat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product architecture, haptics, and autonomous controls. Currently serving as a Product Architect at Invision AI since May 2020, Arash specializes in computer vision, deep learning, and IoT solutions for vehicle occupancy detection. Concurrently, as a Senior Haptics Specialist at Haply Robotics since June 2015, Arash integrates haptics into game engines and develops haptic devices. Previously, at General Motors, Arash worked as an Autonomous Controls Engineer from April 2017 to April 2020, focusing on deep learning algorithms for Camera-LiDAR alignment and fault detection in vehicle systems. Arash's academic background includes a PhD from McGill University and substantial research experience in haptic systems and smart materials, supported by teaching and leadership roles at both McGill University and the University of Tehran.
