Luka Postruzin

Luka Postruzin has a diverse work experience in the field of data and information technology. Luka began their career as a Business Intelligence specialist at VIPnet d.o.o, where they were responsible for business analysis and managing small projects for changing DWH systems. Luka later took on the role of Senior Business Intelligence Specialist, where they were the project lead for implementing a new BI portal and changing technology to the Microsoft stack. Luka then became the Head of Business Intelligence and DWH Development, where they managed a team and had cluster governance responsibility. Luka was also responsible for budgeting, key project delivery, and implementing innovative solutions. Prior to these roles, Luka worked as a Business Intelligence Data Steward Expert, Head of IT Reporting System at Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d, and currently holds the position of VP of Data at Happening. Overall, Luka's work experience showcases their expertise in data management, leadership, and project delivery.

Luka Postruzin completed their education at three different institutions. Luka started their education at XV. gimnazija from 2003 to 2007, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Luka then attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computing with a focus on Computer Engineering. Luka furthered their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Science in Computing with a specialization in Computer Engineering from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, Luka Postruzin also obtained the certification of Oracle Database: SQL Certified Expert from Oracle in March 2013.
