Christopher Newton

Christopher Newton has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Christopher currently holds the position of Director of Cybersecurity Solutions at Twill since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at MAXIMUS for four years, initially as an IT Security Architect, where they documented security requirements and oversaw implementation projects. Later, they transitioned to the role of Manager, Security Architecture. Before joining MAXIMUS, Christopher was a Senior Associate at PwC, where they conducted assessments and provided recommendations to improve information security programs for clients in various industries. Christopher also worked as a Field Engineer at Raytheon and served in the United States Air Force, where they held positions as a DCGS Instructor and Ground Segment Technician.

Christopher Newton has a Master's degree in Management of Secure Information Systems from George Mason University - School of Business, obtained from 2017 to 2018. Christopher also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology - IT Security from Western Governors University, obtained from 2013 to 2014. In addition, they have an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, obtained from 2004 to 2007. Christopher Newton has several additional certifications, including certificates in Database Design, Javascript, Linux+, Project+, Web Design, A+, Web Foundations Associate, Security+, Air Force Certified Instructor, CCNA, CCNA-Security, and Certified Fiber Optics Technician.
