Cailan Libby

CEO & Founder at Happipad

Cailan Libby is the founder and CEO of Happipad, a social enterprise that connects people who need housing with homeowners who have space in their homes. Cailan started their career as a research assistant at the University of British Columbia, where they conducted research on electrical engineering. Cailan then interned at Kiewit, an engineering and construction company, before becoming a fellow at the U.S. Department of State's Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI). After their fellowship, Cailan became the president of the Central Okanagan Climbing Association, a non-profit society that promotes rock climbing in the central okanagan region of Canada. In their current role as CEO of Happipad, Cailan is using their entrepreneurial skills to make a positive impact on the global housing crisis.

Cailan Libby is a certified industrial electrician who has a Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Auckland.
