Yu Ding has a strong academic and professional background in computer science and artificial intelligence. Yu obtained an undergraduate degree in Automatique from Xiamen University, followed by a Master's degree in Informatique from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, both with excellent distinctions. Yu pursued a PhD at Télécom ParisTech, completing the program in 2014. The professional trajectory includes postdoctoral roles at CNRS and the University of Houston, culminating in a position as an Artificial Intelligence Expert and Head of the Virtual Human Group at NetEase since March 2018. In December 2023, Yu took on the role of Director of the AI R&D Center at Happy Elements.
