John Harbert

John Harbert is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in real estate investment and capital formation. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Investments - U.S. Real Estate at Harbert Management Corporation since August 2016, John has previously held roles as Associate and Director of Capital Formation within the same organization. In addition to current responsibilities, John is a Board Member at Youtility, a Board and Investment Committee Member at Harbert Realty Services, and a Co-Owner and Board Member of Birmingham Legion FC. John's earlier career at Harbert Management Corporation included positions as Associate and Analyst in Capital Formation. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
