Kate McCarthy

Kate McCarthy has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Kate is currently working at Harbinger as a Powertrain Manufacturing Manager since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Relativity Space as a Sr Manager Manufacturing Engineering, Propulsion from November 2021 to June 2022. From April 2021 to November 2021, they held the position of Director Process Development at Virgin Hyperloop. Before that, they worked at Virgin Hyperloop in different roles such as Sr Manager Process Development, Process Development Manager, Lead Process Development Engineer, and Process Development Engineer from May 2020 to April 2021, July 2019 to May 2020, September 2018 to July 2019, and June 2017 to September 2018 respectively. Earlier in their career, Kate worked at QuantumScape as a Member of Technical Staff from June 2016 to June 2017, and as an Associate Member of Technical Staff from July 2014 to June 2016. Kate also gained experience at Selecta Biosciences as a Formulation/ Process Development role from January 2013 to June 2013, Ambri as a Process Engineer from January 2012 to August 2012, and A123 Systems as an R&D Electrode Build Process Engineer from January 2011 to July 2011.

Kate McCarthy attended Northeastern University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
