Mark Pearse has over 25 years of experience in risk and hydrology-related fields, focusing on ALARP/SFAIRP assessments for dams, flood modelling, and risk assessment. Currently, they assist dam owners in managing risks across their portfolios and have co-developed a bespoke process for identifying necessary risk reduction measures. Previously, Mark worked as a Senior Hydrologist at SKM (now Jacobs), and as a Principal Hydrologist at both SMEC and Hydrology and Risk Consulting. Mark holds a Bachelor of Natural Resources from the University of New England and a PhD from Monash University.
