Peter McCahill

Peter McCahill is a dynamic and technically competent Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager with over twenty-five years of senior-level experience in the Civil Engineering and Construction sectors. They have specialized in areas such as Excavation, Piling, Groundworks, and Railway Engineering, successfully managing various contracts for contractors and developers. Notably, Peter held the position of Senior Project Manager at Harcourt Developments from 2009 to 2017, overseeing major mixed-use developments, including the Titanic Quarter regeneration scheme in Belfast. They began their career as a Trainee Civil Engineer at Babtie Shaw & Morton and have also worked as a Freelance Construction Manager and Senior Engineer for several prominent contractors in the industry. Peter holds an HNC in Civil Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and continues their education with Higher Levels at Holyrood Secondary School.
