Danielle Boyd has a diverse work experience in the fields of regulatory and compliance, sports gaming operations, government relations, and legal counsel. Danielle currently holds the role of Vice President- Regulatory & Compliance at Hard Rock Digital, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Sports Gaming Operations at the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation from July 2020 to March 2021. Danielle also worked as the Head of Government Relations at William Hill from October 2018 to July 2020. Before transitioning to the gaming industry, Boyd worked as the Managing General Counsel at the West Virginia Lottery from December 2011 to October 2018. Danielle began their legal career as a Staff Attorney at the West Virginia State Tax Department - Litigation Division from August 2010 to December 2011, and as a Legal Intern at the West Virginia State Tax Department from May 2009 to August 2009. Danielle also gained experience in government affairs as a Press Office Intern in Senator John D. Rockefeller's Office in 2008. Boyd began their professional journey with a Governor's Internship Program at the West Virginia Department of Revenue from May 2005 to August 2007.
Danielle Boyd has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from West Virginia University. Danielle also has a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law from West Virginia University College of Law. Additionally, they attended the Women's Campaign School at Yale University, where they must have studied Campaign Management.
