Jackie Wang

Jackie Wang is a Members Staff Writer at CQ Roll Call since January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Local Government Reporter for the San Antonio Report from August 2018 to January 2022, where coverage focused on city and county government. Previously, Jackie Wang held roles as a Reporting Fellow at both The Dallas Morning News and News21, and an Investigative Reporting Fellow at the Texas Tribune. Early professional experience includes positions as a Social Content Producer at the Austin American-Statesman and Managing Editor for The Daily Texan. Jackie Wang's contributions to various publications have addressed political and environmental issues, culminating in recognition through a student Edward R. Murrow Award for work on agricultural pollution. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2017.
