Robert Matson is an internationally recognized cartoonist with extensive experience in editorial and freelance illustration. Since January 2005, Robert has been an internationally syndicated cartoonist at Cagle Cartoons Newspaper Syndicate, distributing cartoons to over 800 newspapers worldwide, along with serving as a syndicated editorial cartoonist for Cagle Cartoons, Inc., with syndication in over 850 publications. Robert's editorial cartoons have appeared in Roll Call since September 1986, alongside positions at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and The New York Observer. As a freelance illustrator, Robert has worked with prestigious clients, including The New Yorker and MAD Magazine. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Columbia University, where studies were completed between 1981 and 1985.
