Tom Tao possesses extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering and quality management. Currently serving as Manufacturing Manager and QC Manager at Hardinge Inc since November 2009, Tom Tao oversees various quality control processes, including incoming material quality, supplier quality improvement, and finish goods control. Additionally, Tom Tao holds the position of S.r Quality Manager at Hardinge Asia Limited, responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001 quality system. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Hardinge Inc, Mechanical Engineer at Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd, Fixture Design Engineer at Johnson Electric, and Manufacturing Process Engineer at Wuhan Heavy Duty Machine Tool Co., Ltd. Tom Tao holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Hubei University of Technology.
