Raphaël Charolois

Hands-on Engineering Manager at HarfangLab

Raphaël Charolois has had a long and varied career in the engineering field. Starting in 2005, they were a Research Master Intern at Université Lille 1, LIFL, équipe R2DP, where they worked on the security analysis of the OLSR protocol. In the same year, they began working at Worldline by Atos as a Technical Architect, where they worked on the backend system for processing and storing events coming from mobile applications. Raphaël then moved to the French Ministry of Defence in 2007 as an Information Security Engineer and Technical Team Manager, where they were responsible for a team of 10 engineers in information security tools development. In 2015, they joined Enyx as nxAccess Team - Engineering Manager, where they drove the team and enriched the nxAccess product. Raphaël then took on the role of Trading Solutions CTO, providing a global insight in technology choices proposed by the nxAccess & nxFeed engineers. Raphaël then became the Trading Products Operational & Team Manager, managing two product-focused teams of engineers. Finally, in 2021, they began working at HarfangLab as a Hands-on Engineering Manager, working on leveraging the full potential of Harfanglab's 6 teams with one simple goal: delivering the best product.

Raphaël Charolois obtained an Engineer's degree from Centrale Lille in Information Technology between 2002 and 2005. Raphaël then obtained a Diplôme Etudes Appliquées (DEA/Master Recherche) from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in Embedded Systems Conception. In 2020, they obtained three certifications from Coursera: a Deep Learning Specialization (4 months) in October, Improving Deep Neural Networks in March, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning in February.
